Mahaprabhu\/Gauranga<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the combined form of R\u0101dh\u0101 and Krishna. He is also known as Gauranga &#8211; the Golden Avatar of Prema (Ecstatic Love). \u015ar\u012b R\u0101dh\u0101 is the complexion of <em>nava gauracana<\/em>, She wears a <em>nilambara<\/em> (blue) outfit, and She is 14 years, 2 months, 15 days old. Her character is <em>vamya madhya<\/em> and Her <em>bhava<\/em> is <em>ujjvala prem<\/em>. \u015ar\u012b Krishna is the complexion of <em>indivara<\/em> (Sapphire), He wears a <em>pitambara<\/em> (yellow) dress and is 15 years, 9 months and 7 days old. His character is <em>dhira lalita<\/em> (the care free, expert lover who is controlled by the love of His beloved) and His <em>bhava<\/em> is <em>ujjvala prem<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>1. Sri Nityananda Prabhu and Srimati Jahnava Thakurani &#8211; The Head of our D\u012bk\u1e63\u0101 Line<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sri Nityananda Prabhu and Srimati Jahnava Ma are both Ananga Ma\u00f1jar\u012b in Krishna <em>l\u012bl\u0101 <\/em>(Ananga Manjari is 12 years, 6 months, 15 days old). They are the origin of our <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> line (aka Nityananda Parivar). Jahnava Ma is the head of our whole Gaudiya Vai\u1e63nava sampradaya. Ananga Ma\u00f1jar\u012b is the head of our <em>guru pranali<\/em> (<em>ma\u00f1jar\u012b<\/em>) line. Nityananda&#8217;s other wife, Vasudha Devi, is the origin of the Nityananda bloodline (aka Nityananda Vam\u015ba).  Our line is therefore a matriarchal one and <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> is usually given by the wife of the Guru (In exceptional cases, if the wife dies young when her son is too young to receive <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em>, he may receive it from his father or grandmother). \u015ar\u012b Jahnava Thakurani (<em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101 <\/em>line) &amp; \u015ar\u012b Vasudha Devi (Vam\u015ba line, mother of Biracandra Prabhu and Ganga Mata Goswamini) were the two consorts of Sri Nityananda. The <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101 <\/em>line is (usually) through the mother, the bloodline is traced through the father. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Sri Biracandra Prabhu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u012bracandra Prabhu is the son of Nityananda and Vasudha and the spiritual son (disciple) of Jahnava Ma. He is a second manifestation of Mahaprabhu as well as a manifestation of K\u1e63\u012brodak\u015b\u0101y\u012b Vi\u1e63nu (the Supersoul in the heart). He is inconceivably both Vi\u1e63nu <em>tattva<\/em> and <em>bhakta<\/em> <em>tattva <\/em>(and therefore not easy to comprehend). He appeared during Kartik on the day of Radha Kunda <em>a\u1e63\u1e6dam\u012b <\/em>(aka Bahul\u0101\u1e63\u1e6dam\u012b). He is the disciple as well as the adopted son of Jahnava Thakurani, the Gaudiya Vai\u1e63nava \u0100c\u0101rya after the disappearance of Nitai-Gauranga. (Ganga Mata Thakurani, the daughter of Nityananda and Vasudha, was Biracandra\u2019s younger sister, Her husband name was Madhava \u0100c\u0101rya (aka Madhavananda) and from them comes the Ganga Mata branch of the Nityananda line).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>2. Srimati Narayani Mata Goswamini (and Biracandra)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012bmat\u012b Narayani Mata was the wife of Biracandra Prabhu and <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> disciple of Jahnava Ma. Biracandra had two wives, Narayani and \u015ar\u012bmat\u012b Vi\u1e63nupriya. Biracandra and \u015ar\u012bmat\u012b Vi\u1e63nupriya had three sons, Gopijanavallhava, Ramakrishna and Ramacandra, and one daughter Bhuvana Mohini (according to some sources they had three daughters).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>3. Srimati Govinda Priya Goswamini<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>3<sup>rd<\/sup> \u015ar\u012b Govinda Priya was the wife of Ramacandra Goswami, the third son of Biracandra &amp; \u015ar\u012bmat\u012b Vi\u1e63nupriya (He is not the same as Ramacandra the adopted son of Jahnava Ma, better known as Ramai Thakur, the author of Ananga Ma\u00f1jar\u012b Samputika)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>4. Srimati Kadamba-mala Goswamini<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>4. \u015ar\u012b Kadamba-mala Mata was the wife of Radha Madhav, son of Govinda Priya Mata and Ramacandra Goswami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>5. Srimati Navakumari Mata <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012bmat\u012b Navakumari Mata was the wife of Rajendra Goswami the son of Kadamba-mala &amp; Radha Madhav.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>6.  \u015ar\u012b Kalindi Mata<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>6. \u015ar\u012b Kalindi Mata was the wife of Hari Govinda Goswami the son of Navakumari Mata and Rajendra Goswami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>7. \u015ar\u012b Annapurna Mata<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Annapurna Mata was the wife of Sarve\u015bvar Goswami the son of Kalindi Mata and Hari Govinda Goswami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>8. \u015ar\u012b Taramani Mata <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Taramani Mata was the wife of Laxmikanta Goswami the son of Annapurna Mata and Sarve\u015bvar Goswami. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>9. \u015ar\u012b Krishna Kishor Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Krishna Kishor Goswami was the son of Taramani Mata and Laxmikanta Goswami Prabhu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>9. \u015ar\u012bmati Kishori Mata<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012bmati Kishori Mata was the wife of Krishna Kishor Goswami son of Tamarani and Laxmikanta Goswami. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>10. \u015ar\u012b \u015aarada Sundari Mata<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>10. \u015ar\u012b \u015aarada Sundari Mata was the wife of Alakmohan Goswami son of Kishori Mata and Krishna Kishor Goswami.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>11. Prabhupad \u015ar\u012bla Prangopal Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Prangopal Goswami was the son of \u015aarada Sundari &amp; Alakmohan Goswami. Alakmohan\u2019s wife was Sarojini Mata (who left the world early when Yadugopal was too young for <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>12. Prabhupad \u015ar\u012bla Yadugopal Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Yadugopal Goswami was the son of Prangopal Goswami &amp; Sarojini, and Husband of Gita Mata Goswamini. He is the <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> guru of Prankrishna Baba (He left the world soon after giving young Prankrishna Baba <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> and Madangopal Goswami became Prankrishna Baba\u2019s main <em>\u015bik\u1e63\u0101<\/em> Guru).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>12. \u015ar\u012b Gita Mata Goswamini<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u015ar\u012b Gita Mata Goswamini was the wife of Yadugopal Goswami. She is the grandmother and <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> guru of Premgopal Goswami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>13. Prabhupad \u015ar\u012bla Madangopal Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>13. \u015ar\u012b Madangopal Goswami was the son of Yadugopal Goswami and Gita Mata. He is the father, <em>\u015bik\u1e63\u0101<\/em> and <em>siddha pranali <\/em>Guru of Premgopal Goswami, and the <em>\u015bik\u1e63\u0101<\/em> and <em>siddha pranali<\/em> Guru of Prankrishna Baba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>14. Prabhupad \u015ar\u012bla Nityagopal Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Prabhupad \u015ar\u012bla Nityagopal Goswami, elder son of Madangopal Goswami and older brother of Premgopal Goswami, married to Soma Devi. He is the father of Govindagopal Goswami (the next in line). (Nityagopal Goswami is referred to informally as <em>boro prabhu<\/em> or <em>boro bhai<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>14. Prabhupada \u015ar\u012bla Premgopal Goswami<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Prabhupada \u015ar\u012bla Premgopal Goswami, our <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> Guru, is the <em>d\u012bk\u1e63\u0101<\/em> disciple of Gita Mata Goswamini. He is married to Upasana Devi (Respectfully addressed as Guru Ma) and is the father of Alankrita Devi. His father Madangopal Goswami is his <em>\u015bik\u1e63\u0101<\/em> Guru. His <em>\u015b\u0101stra<\/em> (<em>\u0101c\u0101rya<\/em>) Guru is Ni\u1e63itha Kumar Goswami, considered one of the greatest living Vai\u1e63nava scholars today.
